    What is the format of the ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an EXIN accredited test location, and is based on the EXIN examination specification.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. It spans five topic areas: the agile way of thinking, the Scrum Master role, agile estimating and planning, complex projects, and adopting agile.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. Studying all five topic areas, rather than focusing on one, gives you the best chance of clearing the exam.

    How do I take the EXIN exam?

    You can sit the exam online with EXIN proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited test location. Accredited training providers can also arrange the exam as part of a training package.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?
