    The CSM exam is an open-book, online, multiple-choice test taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete an approved course. It covers the six CSM topic areas defined in the Scrum Alliance Learning Objectives.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam?

    The CSM exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 60 minutes. It is open book and taken online without a proctor.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    You need 74% to pass, which is at least 37 correct answers out of 50 questions.

    How many attempts do I get for the CSM exam?

    Candidates typically have three attempts to pass within 90 days of completing the course. Our trainers provide guidance to help you prepare and pass with confidence.

    Can a beginner take the CSM course?

    Yes. CSM is a foundation-level certification with no prerequisites, so beginners are welcome. The course builds your Scrum knowledge from the ground up with hands-on facilitation practice.

    How long is the CSM training?

    The CSM course is a 16-hour programme, delivered as two full days or four half-days. This exceeds the Scrum Alliance minimum contact-hour requirement for the course.

    What learning materials are provided?
