What Is Lean Fundamentals?UntitledA Practical Introduction to Lean Thinking

Lean Fundamentals Training in Canada is a one-day introductory course that builds a working understanding of Lean management, its principles, and its core waste-elimination tools. Rooted in the Toyota Production System developed by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo, it introduces the five Lean principles that James Womack and Daniel Jones codified in Lean Thinking (1996): identify value, map the value stream, create flow, establish pull, and seek perfection. Over a single day you learn to see the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), organise work with 5S, read a value stream map, use pull and Kanban, standardise work, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and the PDCA cycle. Hands-on waste identification exercises and real case examples connect every concept to your own work. The course suits employees, supervisors, managers and professionals in any industry or function, and it is the natural first step for teams beginning a Lean or operational excellence journey. Start building your Lean capability with Invensis Learning.

    Pricing

How much does Lean Fundamentals training cost in Canada?

Pricing varies by delivery mode, region and group size, so the fee is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote and upcoming schedules, and ask about group rates if you plan to train more than one person.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all Lean Fundamentals modules, structured courseware and learning resources, hands-on waste identification and tool exercises, learner support, and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.

    Does the completion certificate expire?

No. The knowledge and skills you gain do not expire, and there is no renewal requirement. You keep your Lean Fundamentals foundation and can build on it with further Lean or quality training whenever you are ready.
