What Is Lean Manufacturing Training?UntitledA Practical Route to Waste-Free Production
Lean Manufacturing Training in Bahamas is a practical, non-certification skills course that teaches teams how to eliminate waste from production and deliver more value to customers. Rooted in the Toyota Production System (TPS) developed by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo at Toyota, the training covers the five Lean principles, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), 5S workplace organisation, value stream mapping, pull systems and kanban, Just-in-Time production, Total Productive Maintenance and Kaizen continuous improvement. Delivered over one intensive day (8 hours), the programme suits production managers, manufacturing and industrial engineers, operations supervisors, team leaders, quality and maintenance professionals, and Lean coordinators. There are no prerequisites, so anyone working in or responsible for a production operation can join, whatever their prior Lean experience. Hands-on exercises run throughout, from Gemba waste walks and value stream mapping to 5S assessment, OEE calculation and kanban design. You leave able to apply Lean tools to real Bahamian plants, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning.
