    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN ASM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location and is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and you are given 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete it. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN topic areas.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions answered correctly. Preparing across all five topic areas, especially the Scrum Master role and agile estimating and planning, is the best way to clear it.

    Do I need Agile Scrum Foundation before taking ASM?

    Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge is recommended as the intended entry point, but it is generally not strictly enforced as a mandatory prerequisite. EXIN exams are broadly accessible, so verify the current policy when you register.

    What if I do not pass the exam on my first attempt?

    You can resit the EXIN ASM exam. We support you with mock questions, revision guidance and trainer help to prepare thoroughly the first time, and selected plans include retake support. Ask us about the options available.

    Can a beginner take this course or do I need experience?

    Beginners are welcome. While Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge helps, the programme builds your understanding from the agile mindset upward with practical exercises, so professionals new to Scrum can follow and apply it.

    You receive Scrum Guide-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock assessments, exercises and case discussions, and reference material mapped to the EXIN topic areas to support your revision and exam readiness.
