    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is closed book with 120 multiple-choice questions, taken in a three-hour window. It is based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018, with questions spread across seven agile domains.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, with results reported against each domain.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience in the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general experience requirement.

    Where can I take the PMI-ACP exam?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

    What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    Anyone can attend the training to build agile skills and earn contact hours. The PMI-ACP exam itself requires prior general and agile project experience, so the course is best suited to practitioners already working in or moving into agile teams.

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, references to the PMI-ACP ECO and the Agile Practice Guide, plus quizzes and templates to reinforce each domain and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMI-ACP syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline, effective January 2018, and to the Agile Practice Guide that PMI lists among the exam reference materials.
