    Is Jira worth learning for a career in Albania?

    Do I need prior experience to take the course?

    No prior Jira experience is needed for Fundamentals; basic familiarity with web applications is enough. The Advanced level assumes you have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience.

    Should I take Fundamentals or Advanced?

    Choose Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally and want confident daily skills. Choose Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira and want to master workflows, schemes, automation, advanced JQL and administration. You can take either alone or both in sequence.

    Which version of Jira does the training use?

    The course is based on current Atlassian Jira, primarily Jira Software delivered on Jira Cloud, with reference to Jira Data Center where relevant. You practise on a live Jira environment during exercises.

    Are there any additional software costs?

    Jira Cloud offers a free tier for up to 10 users that is suitable for hands-on practice. Paid Jira plans are commercial Atlassian products; we will confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol.

    Is there an exam for the JIRA training?

    No. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no exam at either level. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Jira exercises throughout each programme.

    What do I receive after completing the course?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. The training builds practical Jira skills that apply immediately to Agile delivery and do not expire.

    How is my learning checked during the training?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you build proficiency through hands-on exercises and configuration activities using realistic Agile delivery scenarios, with trainer guidance throughout.

    Will this course make me a certified Jira professional?

    The course builds and demonstrates practical Jira skills rather than awarding a formal certification. It is designed to make you genuinely effective using and configuring Jira on real teams.

    Can I apply the skills immediately at work?

    Yes. Everything is hands-on and workplace-focused, so you can apply boards, sprints, JQL, dashboards, workflows and automation on your own projects straight after the course.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers navigating Jira, creating projects, managing the Epic, Story, Task, Bug and Subtask hierarchy, running Scrum and Kanban boards, planning sprints and backlogs, roadmaps and versions, and building filters, basic JQL and Agile reports.

    What does the Advanced level add?

    Advanced covers custom workflows with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification, screen and field schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation, DevOps integrations and Jira administration.

    Is the course hands-on or theory based?

    It is strongly hands-on. You follow the trainer in a live Jira environment and complete practical exercises using realistic Agile software delivery and project scenarios throughout both levels.

    Does the course cover JQL and automation?

    Yes. Fundamentals introduces filters and basic JQL, while Advanced covers advanced JQL operators and Jira automation, including triggers, conditions, actions and smart values for real use cases.

    Are integrations with GitHub and Confluence included?

    Yes, at the Advanced level. You learn to connect Jira to Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD tools for end-to-end DevOps delivery tracking, plus an overview of Jira Service Management.
