Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a combined, two-level qualification from EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates core business analysis knowledge, and the Practitioner level tests applying BA techniques in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, two-level qualification from EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates core business analysis knowledge, and the Practitioner level tests applying BA techniques in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis course in Albania?

It suits aspiring business analysts, IT professionals moving into BA roles, project managers, product owners and practising analysts formalising their skills. In Albania it is especially valuable for those in IT, banking, telecoms and outsourcing.

Is the certification worth it and what is the ROI?

Yes. Business analysis is among Albania's most in-demand skills, and ICT roles pay well above the national average. Two globally recognised, lifetime-valid credentials position you for analyst and product owner roles across banking, BPO and tech.

    Do the certifications expire?

No. Both the EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner certifications are valid for life. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement.

    Are the credentials recognised internationally?

Yes. EXIN operates in more than 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered institute for IT. The credentials are strongly recognised across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and valued by employers in Albania.

What are the prerequisites for this course?

There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation level, which is open to all. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which the combined programme covers in sequence.

    Pricing

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes EXIN BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm the details with an advisor. Request a quote for the latest inclusions.

How much does the training cost in Albania?

Pricing depends on the format you choose, such as live virtual or corporate group training, and is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote and any group pricing.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, and EXIN exam pricing varies by region and channel. Confirm exactly what is included, and whether both Foundation and Practitioner vouchers are covered, with our team before enrolling.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the EXIN BCS Business Analysis exams?

Both are closed-book, multiple-choice exams of 40 questions in 60 minutes. The Foundation exam uses single-answer questions on knowledge and comprehension; the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions that test applying BA techniques.

What is the passing score for each exam?

The pass mark is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. This applies equally to the Foundation and the Practitioner examinations.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials, and the programme prepares you for each in sequence.

Where can I take the exams?

Online through EXIN's proctored exam system, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the programme.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit an EXIN exam. Re-sit policies and fees vary, so verify current terms with EXIN. Our training includes mock exams and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly.

Which standard are the exams based on?

Both follow the EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications, aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The Foundation level spans 14 topic areas, from investigation techniques and stakeholder analysis to requirements and business cases. The Practitioner level covers seven applied topic areas assessed through realistic project scenarios.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and is designed for those new to business analysis. The combined programme then builds you up to applying techniques at Practitioner level.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive EXIN BCS-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, and Foundation and Practitioner mock exams and practice questions to reinforce learning and build exam readiness.

    How long is the training?

The combined programme runs for 32 hours, delivered as four full days or spread across more days depending on the schedule format. Foundation content is covered first, then Practitioner.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware aligns to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

How do I enrol in the course?

Enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to an advisor if you need help choosing.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and location in Albania.

    How soon can I start?

New cohorts are scheduled regularly across live virtual and group formats. See upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to find the next available batch.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?
