    Course Content

What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-RMP?

PMI offers three routes. With a secondary diploma you need 36 months of project risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. With a four-year degree you need 24 months and 30 hours. A GAC-accredited degree lowers experience to 12 months with 30 hours.

What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

The training covers all five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning, Risk Identification, Risk Analysis, Risk Response, and Monitor and Close Risks. It includes qualitative and quantitative tools such as the probability and impact matrix, Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees and EMV.

Does the training satisfy the PMI education requirement?

Yes. The programme provides 32 contact hours of risk management education, which fully satisfies the 30-hour requirement for degree-holder and GAC routes. Secondary-diploma candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education.

Can a beginner in risk management take this course?

The training is open to anyone, but PMI-RMP is an advanced credential, so you need documented project risk experience to sit the exam. If you are newer to risk, our trainers help you build the concepts and map your experience to PMI's requirements.

Is the courseware aligned to the current exam outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering predictive, agile and hybrid risk approaches.
