    The CSM exam is an open-book, online, multiple-choice examination taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete an approved course. It is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The CSM exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (one hour). It is taken online without a proctor after course completion.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    The passing score is 74%, which means answering at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. The exam is open book, so you can refer to materials while you answer.

    Do I have to attend a course to sit the CSM exam?
