What Is Driving Agile Skills Demand in South Africa

    The Digital Banking Race

South Africa's big four banks and fast-moving fintechs compete on mobile-first delivery, and teams that share agile and Scrum fundamentals ship faster and more reliably.

ASF gives teams a shared agile foundation

    Scarce Technology Skills

As Absa and peers accelerate cloud and AI adoption amid scarce IT skills, certified agile team members help close the capability gap on delivery teams.

ASF builds job-ready agile team members

    Legacy Meets Agile Culture

Established South African organisations often struggle to reconcile traditional decision-making with agile practice, so foundational Scrum knowledge eases the shift.

ASF grounds teams in agile ways of working

    Fragmented Team Understanding

Mixed teams frequently lack a shared Scrum vocabulary, which slows Sprints and handovers. A foundation-level credential aligns everyone on roles, events and artifacts.

ASF creates a common Scrum vocabulary

    Cloud and Transformation Pressure

Multi-cloud migration and transformation programmes demand iterative, inspect-and-adapt delivery, which begins with a solid grasp of the Scrum framework.

    ASF instils iterative delivery discipline

Standing Out in a Deep Talent Pool

With around 121,000 developers in the country, an EXIN credential helps early-career and transitioning professionals stand out in a crowded local market.
