It is designed for IT and business professionals, ITSM practitioners, ITIL holders and career starters who want a flexible, framework-agnostic way to manage services.

Is VeriSM Foundation worth it in 2026?

Yes. As organizations worldwide accelerate digital transformation, employers value professionals who can manage services across multiple frameworks. VeriSM is recognized in over 165 countries through EXIN and supports roles such as service delivery manager and IT service manager. Talk to a learning advisor to see how it fits your goals.

What is the VeriSM management mesh?

The management mesh is the central concept of VeriSM. It integrates four elements, resources, environment, emerging practices and management practices, that an organization combines to create its own flexible service management approach, adapted to its context and VeriSM pattern.

How is VeriSM different from ITIL?

ITIL is a prescriptive framework with specific practices, while VeriSM is an approach that treats ITIL as one of many practices in its management mesh. VeriSM does not prescribe which practices to use; it helps you select and combine ITIL, Agile, DevOps, Lean and SIAM for your context. The two are highly complementary.

How long is the VeriSM Foundation certification valid?

VeriSM Foundation certification is for lifetime. The credential does not expire and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass.
