    General

What is the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation certification?

The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) is an entry-level certification that validates your understanding of the agile way of working and the Scrum framework. Governed by EXIN, it is the first level in the EXIN Agile Scrum scheme and is aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto.

Who should take the Agile Scrum Foundation course in Tanzania?

The course suits anyone who wants to work with or within a Scrum team, including developers, testers, business analysts, project coordinators and traditional project managers moving to agile. With no prerequisites, it is ideal for beginners and early-career professionals in Tanzania's growing digital sector.

Is the Agile Scrum Foundation certification worth it?

Yes. As banks, telecoms and fintech firms in Tanzania adopt agile delivery, a recognised Scrum credential helps you join or support delivery teams and opens roles such as business analyst, Scrum team member and coordinator. It is also the recommended step before the EXIN Agile Scrum Master credential.

Is EXIN ASF recognised in Tanzania and internationally?

Yes. EXIN is an internationally recognised examination body operating in over 165 countries, and its Agile Scrum certifications are valued by employers globally. The ASF credential is recognised by Tanzanian and international organisations that run agile delivery teams.

How long is the ASF certification valid?

The Agile Scrum Foundation certification is valid for life. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you have passed the exam.
