Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level change management qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation covers change concepts and models at knowledge level, while Practitioner validates applying them to real scenarios. Both are aligned to the CMBoK maintained by the Change Management Institute.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level change management qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation covers change concepts and models at knowledge level, while Practitioner validates applying them to real scenarios. Both are aligned to the CMBoK maintained by the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this change management course in Taiwan?

It suits project managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who drive or support change. In Taiwan it is especially valuable for professionals in semiconductor, ICT, banking and consulting firms running digital transformation and modernisation programmes.

Is the change management certification recognised in Taiwan?

Yes. It is a globally recognised credential valued by employers across Taiwan and worldwide, including semiconductor, technology, financial services and consulting organisations that run large-scale change and transformation.

What are the prerequisites for the Foundation and Practitioner levels?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner level requires you to hold the Change Management Foundation certification first. The combined programme takes you through both levels in sequence.

Is the change management certification worth it?

Yes. It opens roles such as change manager, OD manager, HR business partner and transformation lead, where salaries in Taiwan commonly range from around NT$1.5M to NT$2.6M a year. As firms accelerate transformation, certified change professionals are in growing demand. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Pricing

How much does the change management course cost in Taiwan?

Course fees vary by format and are available on request. The combined package typically covers both Foundation and Practitioner training and both exam vouchers. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming schedules.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes CMBoK-aligned courseware, both exam vouchers, mock exams and practice questions, case studies, templates, learner support and a course completion certificate. Confirm current inclusions when you enquire.

Are the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees included?

The combined programme is usually delivered as a training and dual-exam package, so both exam vouchers are commonly included. Exact inclusions vary by plan, so confirm the current package with our team before enrolling.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, HR functions and leadership teams. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You must pass the Change Management Foundation exam and the Change Management Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. Foundation is usually taken first, followed by Practitioner.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks in total. You have 2.5 hours, it is open book with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam, but the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Deep method knowledge and efficient guide navigation are both essential.

What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the exam you did not pass. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly. Confirm the current resit policy and any fees with our team.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The course covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management, taught at Foundation and then Practitioner level.

Which change models will I learn?

You will learn leading models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No prior change management experience is needed for the Foundation level. The programme is beginner friendly and builds from concepts to applied practice, with trainer guidance and hands-on scenarios throughout.

Is the course aligned to the current change management standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, along with the Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    How long is the training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, such as full-day intensive or extended half-day sessions.
