    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Port of Spain?

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is a closed-book test based on the current PMP Examination Content Outline, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. It uses multiple question types, including multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank, covering predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. Roughly half the content covers predictive delivery and about half covers agile or hybrid approaches.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP?

There are two paths: a four-year degree plus 36 months leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education; or a secondary diploma plus 60 months leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours. The training provides the 35 contact hours.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with performance reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across the exam content.

What if I do not pass the PMP exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our preparation, mock exams and trainer support are designed to help you pass with confidence.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Trinidad and Tobago?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal within your eligibility period.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMP training?

You learn predictive delivery tools such as the WBS, critical path method and earned value management, agile and hybrid techniques such as Scrum and Kanban, plus team leadership, risk, stakeholder engagement and connecting projects to the business environment.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?

Anyone can enrol in the training, and it works for professionals early in their project journey as well as experienced managers. To sit the PMP exam, however, PMI requires the project leadership experience and 35 contact hours described in the eligibility criteria.

Which standard and edition is the training based on?

The training is aligned to PMI's current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, the authoritative standard for the exam. It reflects the balance of predictive, agile and hybrid content the PMP now tests.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes that mirror the 180-question format, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for exam day.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the 35 contact hours that count toward the PMP eligibility requirement.
