    What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

    The exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the DevOps Foundation Exam Blueprint and Body of Knowledge. You have 60 minutes to complete it.

    How many questions are on the exam and what is the duration?

    There are 40 multiple-choice questions and you have 60 minutes (one hour) to answer them. The exam covers six topic areas defined in the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge.

    What is the passing score for DevOps Foundation?

    The pass mark is 65 percent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. We recommend broad familiarity across all six topic areas rather than focusing on one.

    Where can I take the DevOps Foundation exam?

    You can take it online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre. The exam is often arranged through your training provider as part of a training and exam package.

    What if I do not pass on my first attempt?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. It covers every topic area and prepares you for the 40-question exam.
