    General

Is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification worth it in Tunis?

Yes. PRINCE2 is a globally recognised project management method valued by IT outsourcing firms, banks, telecom operators and consultancies in Tunis that deliver client and transformation projects. Holding both credentials shows you can work within and lead PRINCE2 projects, which supports roles from project coordinator up to programme manager and head of PMO.

What is PRINCE2 and which edition does the course cover?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, scalable project management method. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS, which introduces the People capability, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates agile and sustainability across the method.

Who is this combined certification designed for?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, project coordinators, team members working in PRINCE2 environments, and professionals moving into project management. Foundation builds method knowledge, while Practitioner proves you can tailor and apply PRINCE2 to real project scenarios.

    Is PRINCE2 recognised internationally?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised worldwide, with particular strength across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Commonwealth markets. PeopleCert operates in over 200 countries, and more than one million PRINCE2 certificates have been issued globally, making it highly portable for professionals in Tunis working with European clients.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle. Practitioner is renewed every three years by retaking the exam, completing CPD via a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Tunis?

Exam vouchers may be bundled depending on the package you choose. Request a quote for full details.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam fees are set by PeopleCert and may be billed separately or bundled with training, depending on the package. PeopleCert pricing varies by region and channel, so confirm current exam fees when you enrol. Ask about bundled options for the best value.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book and single-answer, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 7 Managing Successful Projects manual permitted, and uses scenario-based questions. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams. You must sit and pass the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The combined programme prepares you for both, with Foundation typically taken before Practitioner.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams in Tunisia?

You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's online proctored system, available around the clock, or at an authorised PeopleCert test centre. Exams are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the programme.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam. Re-sit policies and any fees are set by PeopleCert, so confirm the current terms when you enrol. Our training includes practice questions, mock exams and prep guidance to help you feel ready before you sit each exam.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PRINCE2 training?

The training covers the seven PRINCE2 principles, the People capability, the seven practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues and Progress) and the seven processes from Starting Up to Closing a Project, plus tailoring and applied practice for the Practitioner level.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No formal prerequisites are needed for Foundation, so beginners are welcome. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA. The combined programme takes you through both levels in a structured, supported sequence.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full mock exams and topic-wise quizzes for both Foundation and Practitioner, helping you identify weak areas and build confidence with the closed-book and open-book exam formats.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PRINCE2 syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the PRINCE2 7 Managing Successful Projects manual (2023), so you study the current method that the exams are based on.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate after meeting the training requirements. On passing each PeopleCert exam, you also receive the official PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner digital certificates and badges.
