Why COBIT 5 Assessment Skills Are in Demand in Singapore

    Tightening MAS Technology Risk Rules

MAS launched three regulatory upgrades in 2026 covering technology, AI and third-party risk, and financial institutions need assessors who can prove governance control effectiveness.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds formal assessment skills

Cloud and AI Governance Under Scrutiny

Cloud-native banking and AI adoption widen the control surface, so organisations need structured capability assessments to show boards and regulators that governance keeps pace.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds capability assessment skills

    Shortage of Certified Assessors

Singapore has deep IT audit talent but few professionals qualified to run formal COBIT 5 PAM assessments, making the Assessor credential scarce and highly valued.

COBIT 5 Assessor makes qualified assessors stand out

    Third-Party and Outsourcing Risk

With MAS tightening third-party risk rules, firms must assess the governance capability of vendors and internal functions using a defensible, repeatable method.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds evidence-based rating skills

    Boardroom Accountability for IT

MAS expects boards and senior management to own technology risk, driving demand for evidence-based assessments that translate control gaps into leadership action.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds reporting and assurance skills

    Uneven Governance Maturity

Many enterprises run controls without knowing their true capability level, the exact gap a COBIT 5 process capability assessment is designed to measure and close.
