Why Change Management Skills Are in Demand Across Sudan

    Post-War Reconstruction

Rebuilding Sudan's institutions and services demands structured, people-centred change. Certified change leaders guide staff and citizens through disruption, the exact capability this programme develops.

Change Management builds transition and adoption skills

    Digital Transformation Push

National initiatives such as Sudapass and e-governance are reshaping how services are delivered. Technology adoption fails without change management, so people-side skills are increasingly in demand.

    Change Management drives technology adoption

    Humanitarian and NGO Restructuring

UN agencies and NGOs continually restructure programmes and teams in Sudan. Practitioners who can manage stakeholders, communication and transition keep these operations effective through change.

Change Management builds stakeholder engagement skills

    Institutional Change Resistance

Instability and uncertainty heighten resistance to change. Models such as ADKAR and Bridges' Transition Model give professionals proven ways to address fear, build buy-in and sustain new ways of working.

    Change Management builds resistance-management skills

    Change Talent Shortage

Sudan has few formally certified change professionals despite growing need. A recognised Foundation and Practitioner credential makes holders scarce, visible and valued to employers.

Certification makes change professionals stand out

    Banking and Telecom Modernisation

Banks and telecom operators are modernising systems and services. Change managers drive user adoption and embed new processes so these investments deliver real value.

Change Management supports adoption at scale

Change management is more than a credential. It is what makes reconstruction, digital and restructuring programmes actually stick. Join professionals who lead people through change across Sudan. Start your journey today.

    Today

Confident in delivery, but employers want people-side change capability

    After certifying

    Before

Change responsibility based on experience, not a recognised credential

    Now you have

    Before

Stuck delivering projects with no formal change mandate

    Now you have

A clear route into Change Manager and Transformation Lead roles

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation covers knowledge of change concepts and models; Practitioner covers applying them to real scenarios. It is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation covers knowledge of change concepts and models; Practitioner covers applying them to real scenarios. It is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Is the change management certification worth it in Sudan?

Yes. As Sudan rebuilds institutions and drives digital transformation, employers across government, banking, telecom and the humanitarian sector need people who can lead change. The credential is recognised in over 150 countries and helps you stand out for Change Manager and Transformation Lead roles in a market short of certified change professionals.

Who should take this change management course?

It suits project managers, HR and OD professionals, programme and transformation leads, consultants, and senior leaders who sponsor change. There are no prerequisites for Foundation, so it is open to anyone involved in or preparing to support organisational change.

What change management models does the course cover?

The syllabus covers a broad range of individual and organisational models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's eight-step model, the McKinsey 7-S framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. It is a globally recognised change management qualification, respected in over 150 countries and valued across sectors and regions. That makes it a strong, transferable credential whether you work in Sudan or move to another market.

    Pricing

How much does change management training cost in Sudan?

Fees depend on the format you choose (live virtual, classroom or corporate) and are available on request, quoted for the local market. The two exam fees are billed separately from training. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current pricing and batches.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes syllabus-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and full-length mock exams, guidance for both exams, and learner support. Verify the current inclusions, including exam vouchers, with our team before you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

The programme leads to two separate exams, Foundation and Practitioner. Whether the exam vouchers are bundled or billed separately depends on the package. Confirm the exact inclusions and current fees with a learning advisor when you request a quote.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for HR functions, PMOs, change teams and leadership groups. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team in Sudan.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials, and the combined programme prepares you for each in sequence.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50 per cent, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It tests change management concepts and models at knowledge and comprehension level.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has five scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks in total. It runs for 2.5 hours and is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. The pass mark is 50 per cent, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the five scenario sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep knowledge of the models are both essential, and the course prepares you for this.

What are the prerequisites for each exam?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, so the levels are designed to be taken in sequence within the combined programme.

Which standard is the exam based on?

Both exams are based on the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner syllabi, aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The course covers five topic areas: change and the individual, change and the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, change practice, and personal and professional management. Foundation covers them at awareness level and Practitioner at application and analysis level.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No. Foundation has no formal prerequisites, so beginners are welcome. The training is structured to build knowledge step by step before moving into applied Practitioner scenarios, with trainer support throughout.

    What learning resources are included?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, industry case studies illustrating change models and stakeholder engagement, practice questions, full-length mock exams and Practitioner open-book technique practice to build exam readiness.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The combined programme is a 40-hour course, delivered in flexible formats such as live virtual, classroom and onsite corporate training. Foundation content is typically covered first, followed by Practitioner content, with the exams taken at the end of each level.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner syllabi, the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like help choosing a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, onsite delivery and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and team in Sudan.

New batches run regularly across weekday and weekend schedules. Availability depends on the format you choose, so see upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to find the next start date that works for you.
