Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global standard for project managers. It validates competence to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Wroclaw who want a recognised, portable credential.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global standard for project managers. It validates competence to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Wroclaw who want a recognised, portable credential.

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Wroclaw?

Yes. Wroclaw's technology, banking, shared services and manufacturing employers run large project portfolios and increasingly prefer PMP-certified managers. Certified project managers in Poland command stronger salary bands, with senior roles reaching zl 16k to 35k gross per month, making the credential a strong career investment.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management certification. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and procurement requirements worldwide, so it travels with you across sectors and borders.

Which standard is the PMP based on?

The current PMP exam is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the updated PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO). Training with Invensis Learning is mapped to the 8th edition so your preparation reflects the latest exam content.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Wroclaw?

Instructor-led PMP training fees vary by format and cohort, and local pricing is quoted in Polish zloty. Contact us for the current fee and upcoming schedules. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training price. Request a quote to see options.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate. Talk to a learning advisor for the full inclusions.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. PMI membership reduces the exam fee and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Confirm current fees on pmi.org before you apply.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing for teams?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for delivery teams, departments and PMOs across Wroclaw. Ask about corporate and group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is closed book and uses multiple question types, including multiple choice, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the 8th edition ECO.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes, which is 3 hours and 50 minutes, including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. This is unchanged under the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition update.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The updated PMP exam, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP exam?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions, mock exams and trainer support are designed to help you prepare thoroughly before you sit the exam.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so aim for broad mastery across all five exam domains rather than a single number.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PMP training?

The training covers the five domains of the 8th edition ECO: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based delivery, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategy, and stakeholder engagement, plus exam strategy and application support.

Do I need prior experience to take this training?

Anyone can attend the training and earn the 35 contact hours. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience and either a four-year or secondary degree. We help you assess your eligibility and document your experience during the programme.

Does the PMP cover agile as well as waterfall?

Yes. The PMP covers predictive, agile and hybrid delivery. The 8th edition exam includes a dedicated Agile Frameworks domain worth 27%, so you learn Scrum, Kanban and lean practices alongside traditional plan-based methods.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, downloadable templates, chapter-wise quizzes and application guidance, all mapped to the current PMP Examination Content Outline.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the updated ECO, so your preparation reflects the current exam content rather than an earlier edition.
