Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead teams and deliver projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, and it is designed for experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead teams and deliver projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, and it is designed for experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals.

Is the PMP certification worth it in Krakow?

Yes. PMP is recognised across Krakow's IT, business services, banking and engineering employers, and project management pay in Poland is reported to rise by around 15 to 25 percent for certified professionals. As EU-funded programmes scale, certified project leaders are in strong demand.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours. Both paths require the education hours.

Which standard and edition is the PMP based on?

The exam is built on the PMP Examination Content Outline and references the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, the standard PMI now uses as the primary reference. The training covers predictive, agile and hybrid delivery in line with this current edition.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To keep it active you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle, with a minimum of 8 PDUs in each area.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management certification. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and government procurement worldwide.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Krakow?

PMP training fees vary by format and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training price. Talk to a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your preferred schedule and format.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance, learner support, and a course completion certificate with contact hours toward the PMI education requirement.

Is the PMP exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, around USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members for reference. PMI membership can lower the exam fee, so verify current amounts on pmi.org before applying.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts for PMP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams, PMOs and whole delivery functions. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team.

What payment methods and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is closed book with 180 questions in multiple formats, including multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is 3 hours 50 minutes, including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. The same length and question count apply across the current and updated exam formats.

What are the PMP exam domains and their weights?

The current outline has three domains: People (42%), Process (50%) and Business Environment (8%). The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition uses five domains covering fundamentals, predictive methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across every domain.

What happens if I do not pass the PMP exam?

You are permitted up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from the date your application is approved. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts, so confirm current amounts on pmi.org.

Does the PMP exam cover agile?

Yes. Roughly half of the exam content reflects agile or hybrid approaches. The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition adds a dedicated agile frameworks domain worth 27 percent, making agile content more explicitly structured.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based delivery, agile and hybrid frameworks, business analysis and strategy, and stakeholder engagement and communication, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current exam outline.

Do I need prior experience to take the PMP training?

Anyone can take the training, and it is a good way to earn the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires. To sit the exam, however, you must also meet PMI's leading-projects experience prerequisites.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes 1000+ practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 180-question exam.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, covering both predictive and agile or hybrid content in line with the exam split.

Will I receive a certificate and contact hours after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours of project management education that count toward the PMP eligibility requirement.

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website and join an upcoming batch. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to begin.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live online instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

What are the eligibility requirements to enrol in PMP training?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires a degree with 36 months of leading projects, or a secondary diploma with 60 months, plus 35 contact hours of project management education in both cases.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?
