You work hands-on with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, the AWS CDK, Amazon ECR, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch and X-Ray, plus IAM and Secrets Manager for DevSecOps.

Are there hands-on labs in the course?

Yes. Every module pairs concepts with live AWS labs. You create a repository and build specification, assemble a CodePipeline, deploy a CloudFormation stack, ship a container to ECS, and set up CloudWatch alarms and dashboards.

Does the course cover Kubernetes on AWS?

Yes. The containerisation module introduces Amazon EKS, AWS's managed Kubernetes service, alongside Amazon ECS, covering nodes, pods, deployments, Helm and how to deploy to EKS through a CI/CD pipeline.

Does the course include DevSecOps and monitoring?

Yes. You learn to integrate security into the pipeline with IAM least privilege, scanning and secrets management, and to monitor and observe systems with CloudWatch, X-Ray and the four DORA metrics.
