The path to Online PMI-ACP certification follows a streamlined exam-based process. After completing the required training and obtaining PMI approval, candidates proceed directly to the certification examination administered through Pearson VUE. Unlike some senior PMI credentials, PMI-ACP does not require a peer-panel review. Most candidates complete the journey from training to certification within 6–10 weeks, depending on preparation time and application processing.

Is the PMI-ACP recognised in the Philippines?

Yes. PMI-ACP is a globally recognised PMI credential valued by employers across the Philippines and worldwide, including IT-BPM firms, banks, telcos, consulting firms and global capability centres that run agile delivery.

What agile frameworks does the PMI-ACP cover?

The certification spans multiple frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Crystal and Feature-Driven Development. It is not tied to a single framework, which sets it apart from Scrum-only or SAFe-only credentials.

Is the PMI-ACP worth it for my agile career?

How long is the PMI-ACP valid?

PMI-ACP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 Professional Development Units (PDUs) in agile topics within each three-year cycle and report them through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) system.

How much does PMI-ACP training cost in the Philippines?

PMI-ACP training fees in the Philippines vary by format and are available on request. Live online and onsite options are quoted in Philippine peso, while the PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI. Request a quote from a learning advisor for current pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 24 contact hours of agile training, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable resources, application guidance and learner support, plus a course completion certificate. Ask us about corporate and group pricing.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD, currently around USD 435 for members and USD 495 for non-members (for reference; confirm at pmi.org). PMI membership is about USD 139 a year and can reduce the exam cost.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

The exam has 120 multiple-choice questions and a three-hour allotted time. It is closed book and proctored, with questions distributed across seven agile domains defined in the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience in the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general experience requirement.

What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all seven agile domains.

How many attempts do I get, and what if I do not pass?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. If you do not pass first time, our trainers and practice resources support your preparation for the next attempt; PMI re-examination fees apply.

Where can I take the PMI-ACP exam?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through the Pearson VUE website or PMI's portal.

What topics are covered in the PMI-ACP training?

The training covers all seven agile domains: Agile Principles and Mindset, Value-Driven Delivery, Stakeholder Engagement, Team Performance, Adaptive Planning, Problem Detection and Resolution, and Continuous Improvement, plus tools and exam strategy.

Does the training satisfy the 21 contact hours requirement?

Yes. The programme provides 24 contact hours of agile training, which exceeds and fully satisfies PMI's mandatory 21 contact hours of agile education required to apply for the PMI-ACP exam.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams modelled on the 120-question, three-hour closed-book format, along with topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-ACP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018, which remains the current outline, and draws on the Agile Practice Guide and other recognised agile references.

Do I need prior agile experience to take the course?

Anyone can attend the training to earn the 24 contact hours. To sit the exam, PMI requires agile and general project experience, so the course best suits practitioners who already work in agile teams and want to certify.
