    Course Content

    What topics does the Design for Six Sigma course cover?

    The course covers the full DMADV roadmap: DFSS foundations and the DFSS versus DMAIC distinction, the Define phase (VOC and Kano), the Measure phase (CTQ flow-down and QFD), the Analyse phase (concept selection and Design FMEA), the Design phase (robust design and DFMA) and the Verify phase (design verification and transfer).

    How long is the Design for Six Sigma training?

    The programme runs for one day (8 hours), and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions totalling 8 hours. It covers all six DMADV phases with concept explanations, real-world design examples and hands-on tool exercises throughout.

    Which DFSS tools will I practise during the course?

    You practise VOC to CTQ flow-down, building a QFD House of Quality, the Pugh concept selection matrix and a Design FMEA worksheet, all applied to realistic product or process design scenarios.
