    What is the format of the CSM exam?

    The CSM exam is an online, open-book, multiple-choice test taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete the course. It is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide, with no proctor required.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and you have 60 minutes to complete it. It is taken online after course completion, and you have up to 90 days from the course to sit it.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    The passing score is 74 percent, meaning you must answer at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. The exam is open book, so you can refer to materials while answering.

    What happens if I do not pass the CSM exam?
