    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination of 40 questions. You have 90 minutes to complete it, and it is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at accredited test locations.

    How many questions are on the exam and what is the pass mark?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions. The passing score is 65 percent, which means you need 26 of the 40 questions correct to pass.

    What topics does the ASM exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas from the EXIN examination specification: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%).

    How and where do I sit the EXIN exam?

    You can sit the exam online through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited test location. It is also available via accredited training providers.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You can resit the EXIN exam if needed. Our trainers provide practice questions, mock exams and targeted guidance so you can identify weak areas and prepare with confidence before your retake.
