    What is the format of the SIAM Foundation exam?

    The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the EXIN SIAM Foundation Examination Specification and the SIAM Body of Knowledge published by Scopism. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test centre.

    How many questions are on the SIAM Foundation exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 questions and a time allowance of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice paper.

    What is the passing score for the SIAM Foundation exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, so you need at least 26 correct answers out of 40. Structured mock exams in the course help you build toward that threshold across all seven topic areas.

    What will I learn in the SIAM Foundation course?

    You will learn the SIAM ecosystem and three-layer model, the four-stage implementation roadmap, SIAM roles and governance, integration practices, and how to coordinate incident, change and service level management across multiple suppliers.

    Do I need prior experience or an ITIL background?

    No prior experience is required. The course starts from first principles, so beginners can follow it. An ITIL Foundation or general ITSM background makes the content more accessible but is not a prerequisite.

    Which standard is the training based on?
