    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The exam is closed book with single-answer, multiple-choice questions. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and can be taken via EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (one hour).

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, which means you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly to pass.

    What topics does the exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas from the EXIN examination specification: Agile Way of Thinking (about 20%), Scrum Practices (about 30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (about 20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (about 15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (about 15%).

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Our training includes first-attempt guidance, mock exams and practice questions to prepare you thoroughly. If a resit is needed, EXIN allows re-examination; confirm the current re-sit policy and fee with EXIN or your learning advisor.

    What will I learn in the Agile Scrum Foundation course?

    You will learn the agile mindset, the Scrum framework (roles, events and artefacts), agile planning and estimation, how to monitor Scrum projects, and advanced Scrum concepts, all mapped to the five EXIN examination topic areas.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The course is built for beginners and needs no prior agile or Scrum experience. The trainer starts from first principles and uses practical examples, so newcomers can follow comfortably.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams aligned to the 40-question EXIN format, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness before the real test.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current EXIN specification?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification, the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, so what you study reflects the current exam.

    How long is the training?

    The Agile Scrum Foundation programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered as two full days or four half-days, depending on the schedule you choose.
