    What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

    The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP ECO. It uses single and multiple-answer questions across seven agile domains, delivered online proctored via Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and a three-hour allotted time. Questions are distributed across the seven agile domains defined in the January 2018 Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported with domain-level feedback as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all seven domains.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

    You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile experience in the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general experience requirement.

    How many attempts do I get, and can I retake it?

    You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts; confirm the current amounts at pmi.org.

    Does the training meet the 21 contact hours requirement?

    Yes. The programme provides 24 contact hours of agile training, which exceeds and fully satisfies PMI's 21 contact hours prerequisite for the PMI-ACP application.

    Do I need agile experience before enrolling?

    You can enrol at any time, but the PMI-ACP is an experience-backed credential. To sit the exam you need agile project experience plus 21 contact hours of training, which this programme provides. Trainers support beginners to the credential throughout.

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMI-ACP ECO and Handbook, Agile Practice Guide topics, practice questions, mock exams and quizzes covering all seven agile domains.
