What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018. Questions are distributed across all seven agile domains and delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or a test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of three hours. It is closed book and proctored, with results reported alongside domain-level performance feedback such as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all seven agile domains rather than a single target number.

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 120-question, three-hour closed-book format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness across all seven domains.

Is the courseware aligned with the current PMI-ACP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline effective January 2018 and draws on the Agile Practice Guide, so you study exactly what the current exam assesses.

Do I need prior agile experience to follow the course?
