    What is the format of the DevOps Master exam?

    The EXIN DevOps Master exam is closed book with single-answer, multiple-choice questions. It is delivered online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location, and is typically arranged through an accredited training provider.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes (1.5 hours). It is closed book and tests application and analysis of DevOps in realistic scenarios, not simple recall.

    What is the passing score for the DevOps Master exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 correct answers out of 40 questions. Broad mastery across all six topic areas is the best way to prepare.

    What topic areas does the exam cover?

    The EXIN specification covers six areas: Implementing Continuous Delivery (about 20%), Designing a DevOps Architecture (17%), Improving Product and Process (17%), Using Lean Management and Monitoring (17%), Implementing Cultural Change (17%) and Assessing Maturity (12%).
