What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

The PMI-ACP exam is closed book with 120 multiple-choice questions, taken in a three-hour window. It is based on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018, with questions spread across seven agile domains, and is delivered online proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-ACP?

You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience within the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile experience within the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders need only the agile experience and training.

What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so focus on broad mastery across all seven domains.

How many attempts do I get, and can I retake it?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. A re-examination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our prep, practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you pass on the first attempt.

Does the 24-hour training meet the exam prerequisite?

The course spans Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Crystal and Feature-Driven Development. This vendor-neutral coverage is what distinguishes the credential from single-framework certifications and reflects how Moldovan delivery teams actually work.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?
