Why Governed Agile Skills Are in Demand in Luxembourg

    Digital Maturity Gap in Banking

Luxembourg banks are classified as digital adopters, below the European average, so employers need people who can drive agile change while keeping delivery controlled and auditable.

AgilePM builds governed agile delivery skills

    Regulatory and Compliance Pressure

CSSF and EU rules mean projects must stay traceable. AgilePM's governance layer lets teams deliver iteratively without losing oversight, exactly the balance regulated firms are hiring for.

AgilePM builds control and governance skills

    Fund Sector Transformation

As a leading global fund domicile modernises operations and technology, demand grows for structured agile delivery across asset servicing, administration and reporting projects.

    AgilePM builds structured delivery skills

    FinTech and Payments Scale-Up

A fast-growing fintech, payments and tokenisation scene needs project leaders who blend agile speed with the control that regulators and partners expect from Luxembourg.

    AgilePM builds iterative delivery skills

    Scarce Governed-Agile Talent

The market is deep in developers but thin in professionals who can govern agile projects. AgilePM's Foundation and Practitioner levels make credentialed holders stand out.

AgilePM makes certified professionals stand out

    Cross-Border Delivery Complexity

Multilingual, multi-site teams serving clients across the EU need one agile governance language. AgilePM gives roles, principles and timeboxes that align distributed teams.

    Before

Limited to a single delivery framework with no project-level governance

    Now you have

A governance layer that complements Scrum, PRINCE2 and hybrid delivery

    Before

Recognition that fades when you change employer or sector

    Now you have

A portable credential valued across Luxembourg's banks, funds and IT firms

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a combined agile project management credential based on DSDM and governed by the Agile Business Consortium. Foundation validates your knowledge of the framework, while Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it to real projects. The combined course prepares you for both exams.

    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a combined agile project management credential based on DSDM and governed by the Agile Business Consortium. Foundation validates your knowledge of the framework, while Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it to real projects. The combined course prepares you for both exams.

Who should take the AgilePM course in Luxembourg?

It suits project managers adopting agile, PRINCE2 and Scrum professionals adding a governance layer, and business analysts and team members on iterative delivery. In Luxembourg it is popular across banks, investment funds, insurers, fintechs and IT services that need agile speed with control.

    Is AgilePM recognised in Luxembourg?

Yes. AgilePM is recognised in over 150 countries and is particularly strong across the UK and Europe, including Luxembourg, where structured project governance is required alongside agile delivery. Employers in banking, funds and IT value it as a credible project-level agile credential.

Is the AgilePM certification worth it?

For most professionals, yes. Project manager roles in Luxembourg average around EUR 78,000, and governed-agile skills open scrum master, delivery and PMO paths that pay more. AgilePM gives two portable credentials that travel across sectors and borders. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your route.

What standard is the AgilePM course based on?

The training is aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium, and to the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner Exam Syllabi. This keeps the eight principles, lifecycle, roles, MoSCoW and timeboxing content current for both exams.

    Pricing

How much does AgilePM training cost in Luxembourg?

Pricing varies by delivery format and schedule, so the current fee is available on request. The combined package covers training for both levels plus preparation for the two AgilePM exams. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share options that suit you.

What is included in the AgilePM course fee?

The fee typically includes AgilePM-aligned courseware for both levels, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, exam preparation guidance, and post-training support. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so confirm this when you enquire.

Are the AgilePM exam fees included in the price?

The programme leads to two separate exams, Foundation and Practitioner. Whether the exam vouchers are bundled depends on the package, so exam inclusion is confirmed on request. Ask your advisor and we will set out exactly what your enrolment covers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and change functions across Luxembourg. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the arrangement that works best for you.

    Exam

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to complete in 40 minutes. It is closed book with a single-answer format, and the pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation training.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over 2 hours. It is open book with the AgilePM Handbook permitted, and the pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 30 out of 60 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The AgilePM Handbook is permitted during the Practitioner exam, but the questions require scenario analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient handbook navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential to pass.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and must pass both to hold both credentials. The combined course prepares you for each level in sequence.

How are the AgilePM exams delivered?

Both exams are delivered through online proctoring or at an authorised test centre. The Foundation exam is typically taken at the end of Foundation training and the Practitioner exam at the end of Practitioner training.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the relevant exam. We provide mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance to build your readiness for both levels, and selected plans include flexible retake support. Ask your advisor about the retake options for your package.

    Course Content

What topics does the AgilePM training cover?

The course covers the AgilePM philosophy and eight principles, the lifecycle and products, roles and responsibilities, MoSCoW prioritisation and requirements, timeboxing, and planning, control and risk. Foundation builds knowledge, and Practitioner develops applied, scenario-based judgment.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes for Foundation, which has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires the AgilePM Foundation certification first. The combined programme is built to take you from awareness to applied practice step by step.

How long is the AgilePM training?

The combined programme runs as roughly 40 hours of training, usually delivered as an intensive five-day schedule or spread across more days in half-day formats. Foundation content comes first, followed by Practitioner content.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive AgilePM-aligned courseware for both levels, industry case studies illustrating principles, roles and techniques, mock exams and practice questions, and post-training support to reinforce your learning.

Is the courseware aligned to the current AgilePM syllabus?

Yes. The materials are aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and to the current AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner Exam Syllabi, so what you study matches what both exams test.
