What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the DevOps Foundation Exam Blueprint. It covers six topic areas, including DevOps foundations, concepts and practices, Agile/ITSM/Lean IT, the continuous delivery pipeline, automation and tooling, and DevOps culture.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The DevOps Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book exam with single-answer questions.

What is the passing score for DevOps Foundation?

The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Focus on broad understanding across all six topic areas of the exam blueprint rather than any single area.

Where and how do I take the exam?

The exam is delivered online via PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre. It is typically arranged through your accredited training provider as part of a training and exam package, so you can sit it from home or office in Lithuania.
