    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The ASM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is delivered online with proctoring or at EXIN-accredited test locations, and is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master Examination Specification.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and an allotted time of 90 minutes. It covers five topic areas, from the agile way of thinking and the Scrum Master role to estimating, complex projects and adopting agile.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions answered correctly. Focus on broad understanding across all five topic areas rather than any single area.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    You can re-sit the EXIN exam if you do not pass on your first attempt. Re-examination fees and policies are set by EXIN, and our trainers provide practice questions and revision guidance to help you prepare with confidence.

    How long is the training programme?

    The ASM training programme runs for around 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days. It serves as both exam preparation and practical Scrum Master skill development.
