Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) is an entry-level credential that validates your understanding of the agile way of working and the Scrum framework. Governed by EXIN, it is the first level in the EXIN Agile Scrum scheme and is designed for anyone who wants to work with or within a Scrum team.

    General

What is the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) certification?

EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) is an entry-level credential that validates your understanding of the agile way of working and the Scrum framework. Governed by EXIN, it is the first level in the EXIN Agile Scrum scheme and is designed for anyone who wants to work with or within a Scrum team.

Is the Agile Scrum Foundation certification worth it in Greece?

Yes. As Greek employers in IT, banking, telecoms and startups scale agile delivery, they increasingly expect team members to understand Scrum. ASF proves that knowledge with a globally recognised, lifetime credential, helping you stand out in a talent-short market and step onto agile teams.

Who should take Agile Scrum Foundation training?

The training suits professionals new to agile, project team members joining a Scrum team, traditional project managers moving to agile, aspiring Scrum Masters, and managers or stakeholders who work with agile teams. No prior agile or Scrum experience is required.

Do I need any prior experience to take ASF?

No. Agile Scrum Foundation has no formal prerequisites. It is open to complete beginners regardless of education, work experience or prior agile knowledge, which makes it an accessible entry point into agile ways of working.

How long is the ASF certification valid?

The certification is valid for lifetime. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass the exam.

    Pricing

What is included in the Agile Scrum Foundation course fee?

The fee typically includes EXIN-aligned courseware, instructor-led sessions, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams, and first-attempt exam guidance. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so confirm the details for your chosen batch. Speak with a learning advisor for a full breakdown.

How much does ASF training cost in Greece?

Pricing varies by delivery format, schedule and whether the exam voucher is bundled. Training and exam packages are typically quoted together for the Greek market. For current pricing in euros, request a quote and a learning advisor will share the options that suit you.

Is the EXIN exam fee included in the training price?

It depends on the package. ASF is often purchased as a combined training and exam bundle through an accredited provider, though inclusion can vary by plan. Ask us to confirm whether the exam voucher is part of your selected programme.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs and newly formed agile squads across Greece. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that works best for you.

    Exam

What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

The ASF exam is a closed-book paper made up of single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered online through EXIN's proctored exam system or at an accredited testing location, and is typically arranged through an accredited training provider.

How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes. It is closed book, so no reference materials are permitted during the exam.

What is the passing score for the EXIN ASF exam?

The pass mark is 65 per cent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. The questions are distributed across five topic areas defined in the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification.

Where can I take the ASF exam in Greece?

You can sit the exam online through EXIN's online proctored system from home or the office, or at an accredited testing location. It is usually scheduled as part of your training and exam package with the accredited provider.

What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the EXIN ASF exam. Re-sit fees and policy are set by EXIN, so confirm the current terms before booking. Our first-attempt guidance, practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you pass the first time.

    Course Content

What topics does the ASF training cover?

The training covers the five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking, Scrum Practices, Scrum Planning and Estimation, Monitoring Scrum Projects, and Advanced Scrum Concepts. This spans the agile mindset, Scrum roles, events and artefacts, estimation, agile metrics and scaling.

Which standard is the courseware aligned to?

The courseware is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification, the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto with its four values and twelve principles, so you learn the framework as EXIN assesses it.

Are practice exams and mock questions included?

Yes. The programme includes EXIN-style practice questions and mock exams mapped to the 40-question format, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for the real paper.

Can a complete beginner follow the course?

Absolutely. ASF is designed for people with no prior agile or Scrum knowledge. The training starts with fundamentals and builds up step by step, so beginners can follow comfortably and finish exam ready.

How long is the ASF training programme?

The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule format you choose. Both options cover the same content and exam preparation.
