    General

What is the VeriSM Foundation certification?

VeriSM Foundation is EXIN's entry-level credential that validates your understanding of VeriSM, a service management approach for the digital age. It covers the VeriSM model, the management mesh, VeriSM patterns, and how organisations define their own flexible service management approach.

Is VeriSM Foundation worth it for UK professionals?

Yes. UK employers running several service management frameworks value professionals who can integrate ITIL, Agile and DevOps into one approach. VeriSM Foundation supports roles across IT services, BFSI, public sector and consulting. Talk to a learning advisor to see how it fits your goals.

    What is VeriSM?

VeriSM is a service management approach for the digital age. Rather than prescribing one method, it gives organisations a model to combine the practices best suited to their context, including ITIL, Agile, DevOps, Lean and SIAM. The management mesh is the central concept that makes this flexible.

Who should take the VeriSM Foundation course?

VeriSM Foundation suits IT and business professionals who want a modern view of service management, including ITSM practitioners, ITIL holders, IT managers and early-career staff. No prior service management knowledge is required, so it is accessible to anyone in a digital organisation.

Are there any prerequisites for VeriSM Foundation?

None. VeriSM Foundation has no formal prerequisites. It is the entry-level credential in the EXIN VeriSM scheme and is open to all, regardless of education, experience or prior IT service management knowledge.

How long is the VeriSM Foundation certification valid?

The VeriSM Foundation certification is valid for lifetime. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you pass the EXIN exam.
