    After the course you can apply the DMADV roadmap, capture VOC and CTQs, build a QFD House of Quality, run a Design FMEA, apply robust design, and plan design verification and validation for a new product or process.

    What do I receive on completion?

    On completing the one-day programme you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. The DFSS methodology and tools you learn are immediately usable and do not expire or need renewal.

    Course Content

    What topics does DFSS training cover?

    The training covers the full DMADV roadmap: DFSS foundations, the Define phase (VOC, Kano, project charter), Measure (CTQ flow-down, QFD), Analyse (concept generation, Pugh matrix, DFMEA), Design (robust design, P-diagram, DFMA) and Verify (verification, validation and design transfer).

    How long is the DFSS course?

    The course runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six DMADV phases with concept explanations, real-world design examples and hands-on tool exercises. It can also be delivered as two half-day sessions.

    What tools will I practise?

    You practise VOC capture, CTQ flow-down, the QFD House of Quality, the Pugh concept selection matrix and Design FMEA, all applied to realistic product or process design scenarios during the day.

    Is the course hands-on?

    Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day, so you apply each DFSS tool rather than just hearing about it. This makes the methodology easy to take back to live design projects.
