What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 of 50 correct. It has no prerequisites and is usually taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the training.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the AgilePM Handbook permitted. It has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over 2 hours. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 30 of 60 marks.

How many exams are there and what are the pass marks?

There are two separate exams. Foundation requires 50% (25 of 50 questions), and Practitioner requires 50% (30 of 60 marks). You must pass both to hold both credentials. Both are based on the current AgilePM Handbook and syllabi.

What are the eligibility requirements for the exams?

Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires the AgilePM Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent. The combined programme is designed to be taken sequentially, Foundation first, then Practitioner.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?
