What Is AgilePM and Why Earn It in Finland?UntitledYour Route to Agile Project Leadership

The Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Certification Course (AgilePM) is a combined, two-level programme that validates your ability to manage agile projects using the DSDM-based framework governed by the Agile Business Consortium. This AgilePM certification training in Finland takes you from awareness of the framework to applying it in real project scenarios. AgilePM gives structure and governance to agile delivery. You learn the eight guiding principles, the six-phase lifecycle, defined business, technical and management roles, MoSCoW prioritisation and timeboxing, all aligned to the current AgilePM Handbook and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi. The Foundation level builds knowledge; the Practitioner level develops the ability to tailor the framework in practice. Finland's technology, banking and public sectors run large iterative programmes that need auditable governance beyond team-level Scrum. Certified agile project leaders are in demand across Helsinki and Espoo, so completing both levels is a clear way to advance. Start your AgilePM journey with Invensis Learning.

What Is Fuelling Agile Delivery Demand in Finland

    Scaling Agile Beyond the Team

Finnish enterprises such as telecom and platform players run many parallel agile teams, but team-level Scrum alone rarely provides project-level governance. AgilePM is built to close exactly that gap.

AgilePM adds project-level governance to agile delivery

    Auditable Delivery in Regulated Sectors

Banks, insurers and public bodies in Finland must show control and traceability while delivering iteratively. AgilePM's governance model supports agility without losing auditability.

AgilePM balances agility with control and audit

    Strategy to Delivery Disconnect

Boards fund digital transformation, but weak links between strategy and delivery cause value leakage. AgilePM's focus on business need and early benefit realisation helps leaders fix it.

AgilePM links business need to delivered value

    Shortage of Certified Agile Leaders

Finland has a deep developer and Scrum talent pool but far fewer professionals credentialed in agile project governance, making AgilePM holders rare and sought-after.

AgilePM makes governance-credentialed leaders stand out

    Hybrid PRINCE2 and Agile Demands

Many Finnish organisations blend predictive PRINCE2 governance with agile delivery. AgilePM provides the DSDM-based agile layer that bridges the two ways of working.

    AgilePM complements predictive governance frameworks

    On-Time Delivery Pressure

With tight budgets and fixed launch windows, Finnish teams need to flex scope, not dates. AgilePM's timeboxing and MoSCoW prioritisation are designed to guarantee timely delivery.

What are the eligibility requirements for the exams?

AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires you to hold AgilePM Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, before you sit it.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the AgilePM training?

The syllabus covers the eight AgilePM principles, the six-phase lifecycle and management products, business, technical and management roles, MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk, at Foundation and Practitioner levels.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites, so newcomers to structured agile can start here. The programme builds from awareness of the framework to applying it in real scenarios, so both beginners and experienced practitioners benefit.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, and guidance on navigating the AgilePM Handbook for the open-book Practitioner exam.

How does AgilePM compare to Scrum and PRINCE2?

Scrum is a team-level delivery framework, while AgilePM is a project-level governance framework covering the full lifecycle. It complements Scrum delivery and sits alongside PRINCE2, making it valuable in Finland's common hybrid environments.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The combined programme is delivered as instructor-led training totalling 40 hours, available as live virtual, onsite classroom or corporate group formats. The number of days depends on the schedule format you choose.

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website by choosing your preferred format and completing payment, after which you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

What training formats are available in Finland?

Do I need prior certification to enrol?

Can I reschedule my enrolment to another batch?
