Why Agile Delivery Skills Are in Demand Across Estonia

    Scarcity of Credentialed Agile Talent

Estonia has a deep pool of developers but far fewer experience-backed agile leaders. The PMI-ACP's rigorous prerequisites make holders rare and sought-after by employers.

PMI-ACP makes certified practitioners stand out

    Scaling Startups Need Agile Governance

As fintech and mobility scale-ups grow, informal agile buckles. Employers hire practitioners who can bring prioritisation, cadence and value delivery to fast-growing teams.

    PMI-ACP builds value-driven delivery skills

    Distributed and Cross-Border Delivery

Estonian teams routinely deliver across time zones and borders. Coordinating remote agile ceremonies and stakeholder engagement at a distance is a skill employers now demand.

PMI-ACP builds facilitation and coordination skills

    Framework Overload Across Teams

Teams mix Scrum, Kanban and Lean without a shared foundation. A multi-framework credential equips leaders to choose the right practice rather than force one method everywhere.

PMI-ACP spans Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP

    Delivery Pressure in E-Government

e-Estonia's public-sector platforms demand iterative, accountable delivery. Agile practitioners who can plan adaptively and detect problems early are increasingly essential.

    PMI-ACP builds adaptive planning skills

    Outcomes over Output

Boards fund transformation but see value leak when teams ship features, not outcomes. Certified practitioners connect delivery to value through retrospectives and metrics.

    PMI-ACP builds continuous-improvement skills

PMI typically processes applications within 5-10 business days. No peer-panel review is required.

Step 5: Sit the 120-Question PMI-ACP Exam via Pearson VUE

Agile roles in Tallinn are competitively paid, with agile project managers averaging around EUR 53,000 a year, so certification supports both recognition and earning potential.

The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is PMI's agile credential validating skill across multiple frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and TDD. It is built on the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018, which defines seven agile domains.

The PMI-ACP suits Scrum Masters, product owners, agile coaches, delivery leads, project managers and team members working in agile or hybrid environments. It is aimed at practitioners with real agile experience who want a globally recognised credential.

You need a secondary degree, 2,000 hours of general project experience within the last five years, 1,500 hours of agile project experience within the last three years, and 21 contact hours of agile training. PMP or PgMP holders already meet the general project experience requirement.

The PMI-ACP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in agile topics within each three-year cycle and report them through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) system.

What are the prerequisites for the PMI-ACP?

    Pricing

How much does PMI-ACP training cost in Estonia?

Training fees are available on request and depend on the format you choose, whether live online, classroom or corporate group training. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current pricing in your preferred format.

What is included in the PMI-ACP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 24 contact hours of agile training, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support. It covers everything needed to prepare for the exam except the PMI exam fee itself.

How much is the PMI-ACP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam separately, with member and non-member rates that vary, so confirm current figures at pmi.org before applying. PMI individual membership can reduce the exam cost and includes access to resources such as the Agile Practice Guide. Ask a learning advisor for guidance.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for delivery teams, product teams and PMOs across Estonia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-ACP exam?

The PMI-ACP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the January 2018 Examination Content Outline. Questions are distributed across seven agile domains and delivered by PMI through Pearson VUE, either online proctored or at a test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-ACP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of three hours. It covers the seven agile domains defined in the PMI-ACP ECO, spanning agile principles, value-driven delivery, stakeholder engagement, team performance, adaptive planning, problem detection and continuous improvement.

What is the passing score for the PMI-ACP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level performance feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all seven domains rather than a single cut score.

How many attempts do I get, and what if I do not pass?

You have up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. If you do not pass, a re-examination fee applies for the next attempt, and our practice resources and trainer support help you prepare to retake with confidence.

Where can I take the PMI-ACP exam in Estonia?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PMI-ACP training?

The training covers the seven agile domains of the PMI-ACP ECO: Agile Principles and Mindset, Value-Driven Delivery, Stakeholder Engagement, Team Performance, Adaptive Planning, Problem Detection and Resolution, and Continuous Improvement, across Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP and TDD.

Can a beginner take this course, or do I need prior experience?

The training is open to anyone and gives you the 21 contact hours PMI requires. However, to sit the PMI-ACP exam you also need documented general and agile project experience. If you are newer to agile, our trainers help you plan the experience path alongside the course.

Does the training satisfy the 21 contact hours requirement?

Yes. The programme provides 24 contact hours of agile education, which exceeds the 21 contact hours PMI requires and satisfies the training prerequisite in full.

Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-ACP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline published in January 2018, which remains the current outline, and draws on recognised references including the Agile Practice Guide.

What learning materials and practice are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, chapter-wise quizzes, practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 120-question format, plus templates and revision aids to help you identify weak areas and build readiness.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website by choosing your preferred format and completing payment, after which you receive schedules, courseware and learning resources. New cohorts run regularly. Talk to a learning advisor to find the next available batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training, so professionals across Estonia can choose the format that fits their schedule.

What are the steps to become PMI-ACP certified?

Complete the 21 contact hours of agile training, confirm you meet the experience prerequisites, submit your PMI application, pass any audit if selected, then schedule and sit the exam through Pearson VUE. Our team can guide you through the application and booking process.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange a transfer.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
