    Is there an exam for the BPM training?

    No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling exercises, process analysis workshops and group discussion across the one-day programme.

    Do I receive anything on completing the course?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It records that you completed the training; it is not a credential from an external awarding body, because BPM as a discipline has no single certifying authority.

    How is learning reinforced without an exam?

    Through practice. You model processes in BPMN 2.0 from real descriptions, run analysis and waste-identification exercises, and apply redesign principles in workshops, so you leave able to do the work rather than just recall it.

    Will this help me progress to further training?

    What topics does the BPM course cover?

    The one-day programme covers six modules: an introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

    What is BPMN 2.0 and will I learn to use it?

    BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation) is the international standard for drawing clear, shared process models. You will learn its core elements, events, activities, gateways, flows, pools and swimlanes, and model real processes during the session.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

    Yes. The day is built around practice: modelling processes in BPMN from verbal descriptions, analysing them to find waste and bottlenecks, and applying redesign principles, so you can immediately apply the techniques to your own workflows.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The course starts from first principles and needs no prior BPM knowledge. Trainers use real examples and guided exercises so newcomers to process work can follow along and leave confident in the core techniques.

    How long is the training?

    The programme runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six modules with modelling, analysis and redesign exercises throughout. A half-day format across two sessions is also available, keeping the same total of 8 hours.
