Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 Practitioner (PRINCE2-P) is the advanced-level project management certification from AXELOS, examined by PeopleCert, that validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to a given project scenario. It is designed for practising and aspiring project managers and PMO professionals who already hold PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent.

    General

What is PRINCE2 Practitioner and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Practitioner (PRINCE2-P) is the advanced-level project management certification from AXELOS, examined by PeopleCert, that validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to a given project scenario. It is designed for practising and aspiring project managers and PMO professionals who already hold PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent.

Is PRINCE2 Practitioner worth it for professionals in Nanjing?

Yes. PRINCE2 is globally recognised and especially valued in European, Commonwealth and multinational delivery, which is common across Nanjing's software, electronics and automotive employers. Certified practitioners are relatively scarce locally, so the credential helps you stand out for senior project roles. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

Why choose Invensis Learning for PRINCE2 training in Nanjing?

Invensis Learning delivers accredited PRINCE2 training aligned to the PeopleCert and AXELOS PRINCE2 7 syllabus, with experienced trainers, flexible live online and classroom formats, and open-book exam preparation. As an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certified provider, we support you from learning to certification.

How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking and passing the Practitioner exam, by completing continuing professional development through a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or by passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

What is the difference between PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner?

Foundation is a closed-book exam that tests knowledge of PRINCE2 at an awareness level. Practitioner is an open-book, scenario-based exam that tests whether you can apply and tailor the method in realistic project situations. Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, is the prerequisite for Practitioner.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Practitioner training cost in Nanjing?

Training is offered as an instructor-led or self-paced package, and pricing varies by format and schedule. The PeopleCert exam fee is billed separately and varies by region and channel. For current fees, contact our team for a tailored quote for your preferred format in Nanjing.

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited PRINCE2 7 courseware, scenario-based learning, practice questions, mock exams, open-book exam technique and learner support. Verify whether the PeopleCert exam voucher is bundled with your chosen package. Request a quote to see exactly what is included.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

It depends on the package. Many accredited training providers bundle the PeopleCert exam voucher with training, while others quote it separately. PeopleCert exam pricing varies by region and purchasing channel. Ask a learning advisor which option applies to your enrolment.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts for PRINCE2 training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams and PMOs in Nanjing. Onsite, live virtual and hybrid delivery are available. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you and to confirm what your enrolment covers.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 7 Practitioner exam is an open-book, scenario-based objective test. The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, and questions require analysis and judgement rather than simple recall. It is delivered online via PeopleCert OnVUE or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. The questions are scenario-based and drawn from the nine areas of the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner Syllabus.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

You need 60% to pass, which is at least 42 out of the 70 available marks. Because the exam is scenario-based, focus on applying and tailoring the method across the syllabus rather than memorising facts.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

Open book means you may use the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects (7th Edition) manual during the exam. However, questions require scenario-based analysis, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential, and our training builds both.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. Our training includes scenario practice, mock questions and open-book technique to prepare you thoroughly for the first attempt. Confirm the current re-sit policy and any fees with PeopleCert before rebooking, and our team can guide you.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 Practitioner training cover?

The training covers the nine syllabus areas of the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner Syllabus: the seven principles, the seven practices, the seven processes, key roles and responsibilities, people management, sustainability and ESG, digital and data management, communication and tailoring, all applied to project scenarios.

Do I need prior experience or PRINCE2 Foundation to attend?

You should hold PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D before the Practitioner exam. There is no formal work-experience requirement, though the course is designed for practising or aspiring project managers. Our trainers support you throughout.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PRINCE2 edition?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner Syllabus, including the People capability, sustainability and tailoring introduced in the 7th edition.

Are practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes scenario-based practice, mock questions and revision resources mapped to the Practitioner exam format, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness for the open-book, 56-question exam.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate. Your official PRINCE2 Practitioner digital certificate and badge are issued by PeopleCert once you pass the Practitioner exam.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PRINCE2 Practitioner course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. To get started, view upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor.

What training formats are available in Nanjing?

We offer live online (live virtual) instructor-led training, self-paced e-learning, and customised corporate group training that can be delivered onsite or virtually for teams in Nanjing. Choose the format that best fits your schedule and learning style.

How soon can I start my PRINCE2 training?

New batches run regularly across live online and corporate formats, so you can usually start soon after enrolling. See upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to pick a batch that suits your timeline.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch on selected plans. Contact our support team and we will help you arrange a batch that works for you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment before you book.
