Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a combined, two-level business analysis qualification awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates knowledge of BA concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level validates the ability to apply them in real project scenarios.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, two-level business analysis qualification awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates knowledge of BA concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level validates the ability to apply them in real project scenarios.

Is the BA F&P certification worth it for professionals in Cameroon?

Yes. Business analysis skills are in growing demand across Cameroon's banking, fintech, telecom and public-sector projects, where average business analyst salaries sit well above the national average. The credential is recognised internationally and quality-assured by BCS.

Who should take this business analysis certification?

It suits aspiring analysts, IT professionals moving into a BA role, project managers, product owners and practising analysts who want to formalise their skills. The Foundation level is open to everyone, with no prior experience required.

Which body awards the BA F&P certification?

Both credentials are awarded by EXIN and developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. They are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, giving strong recognition across the UK, Commonwealth and international markets.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither expires and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing-education requirement once you have earned them.

    Pricing

How much does BA F&P training cost in Cameroon?

Training is typically purchased as a combined package covering both levels, and the fee varies by format and schedule. Pricing for Cameroon is available on request. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current options.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee generally includes EXIN BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, and dedicated learner support. Confirm exam voucher inclusion when you enrol.

Are the EXIN exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. EXIN exam pricing also varies by region and purchasing channel. Ask your learning advisor to confirm whether Foundation and Practitioner vouchers are bundled with your training.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and departments. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

What payment methods and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the EXIN BCS BA exams?

There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple-choice questions testing knowledge, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based multiple-choice questions testing applied technique. Both are closed book.

How many questions are on each exam and how long are they?

Each exam has 40 questions and a duration of 60 minutes. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and you must pass both to hold both credentials.

What is the passing score for the exams?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. The same threshold applies to the Foundation and the Practitioner examinations.

What are the prerequisites for the BA F&P exams?

The Foundation exam has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite before you sit the Practitioner exam.

Where can I take the EXIN BCS BA exams?

You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

    Course Content

What will I learn in this programme?

You will learn to investigate business situations, elicit and prioritise requirements, model processes and requirements, analyse strategy and stakeholders, and build a business case, then apply these techniques in realistic project scenarios at Practitioner level.

What topics does the Foundation level cover?

Foundation covers the full set of EXIN BCS topic areas, including what business analysis is, investigation techniques, stakeholder analysis, process and requirements modelling, defining the solution, and making a business and financial case.

What does the Practitioner level add?

Practitioner builds on Foundation and focuses on applying BA techniques in realistic scenarios, across the strategic context, current situation, stakeholder management, business activity modelling, solution options and business case development.

Are there practice questions and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams aligned to both the Foundation and Practitioner formats, along with case studies, to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. The Foundation level is designed for those new to business analysis and has no prerequisites. The combined programme then takes you through to applied Practitioner skills in one structured journey.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the BA F&P course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual classroom training, self-paced e-learning, onsite classroom training and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

How soon can I start the training?

New batches run regularly for professionals in Cameroon across live virtual and corporate formats. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to find the next available cohort.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact support to arrange this.

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
