    The exam is open book and objective, with 4 questions each worth 20 marks (80 marks total) over 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Only the COBIT 5 Implementation book and the COBIT 5 Enabling Processes Guide are permitted, and questions require scenario-based judgment.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    The pass mark is 50%. You need 40 marks or more out of the 80 available to pass, so focus on applying the implementation lifecycle, change enablement and programme management across the four topic areas.

    Which books are allowed in the open-book exam?

    Only two references are permitted: the COBIT 5 Implementation book and the COBIT 5 Enabling Processes Guide. No other materials are allowed, so efficient navigation of both books is part of exam preparation.

    The phases are: 1) What are the drivers? 2) Where are we now? 3) Where do we want to be? 4) What needs to be done? 5) How do we get there? 6) Did we get there? 7) How do we keep the momentum going? It is designed as a continuous cycle, not a one-off project.

    How long is the training?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, delivered as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. It prepares you for the open-book Implementation exam and assumes COBIT 5 Foundation knowledge.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the COBIT 5 Implementation Exam Syllabus (2022 version) and references the COBIT 5 Implementation Guide and COBIT 5 Enabling Processes Guide used in the exam.
