Why IT Governance Assurance Is in Demand Across Switzerland

    Operational Resilience Under FINMA

FINMA Circular 2023/1 requires Swiss banks to prove resilience by 2026, and formal capability assessments give boards the evidence base that qualified assessors are trained to produce.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds capability assessment skill

    Regulatory Convergence: DORA and NIS2

Swiss financial firms face converging cyber and resilience rules. ISO/IEC 15504-aligned COBIT 5 assessments offer a defensible, comparable way to evidence IT governance maturity.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds ISO/IEC 15504 assessment skill

    Third-Party and Concentration Risk

Outsourcing to cloud and vendors demands documented oversight. Assessors rate process capability so firms can target governance gaps before regulators and auditors do.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds oversight and rating skill

    Shortage of Credentialed Assessors

Switzerland has deep IT audit talent but few qualified COBIT assessors. The advanced credential and its prerequisites make holders scarce and sought-after for assurance roles.

COBIT 5 Assessor makes holders stand out

    Strategy-To-Governance Gap

Boards fund digital transformation but struggle to measure IT governance maturity. Capability assessments translate ambition into evidence-based, prioritised improvement plans.

COBIT 5 Assessor builds improvement planning skill

    Assurance at Enterprise Scale

Large Swiss banks, insurers and pharma run complex IT estates. The PAM gives assessors a repeatable model to assess capability consistently across the whole enterprise.
