    There are 60 questions and the allotted time is two hours. Some exam forms may include up to six additional unscored questions that do not count toward your result.

    What score do I need to pass?

    You need a minimum of 230 out of 300 points to pass. The questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, so aim for broad understanding rather than focusing on one area.

    Where and how do I take the exam?

    You can sit the exam online with web-based proctoring, available on demand, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. There are Pearson VUE centres in Edmonton and worldwide, so you can choose what is convenient.
