    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master Examination Specification and is available online proctored or at accredited test locations.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 90 minutes. It assesses your knowledge across the five EXIN ASM topic areas.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions answered correctly. Preparing across all five topic areas is the surest route to a first-time pass.

    Do I need the Foundation certification before the exam?

    EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge is recommended as the intended entry point, but it is generally not strictly required to sit the Agile Scrum Master exam. Verify the current policy with EXIN before registering.
