What You Gain from AWS DevOps SkillsSkills That Deliver on the Job

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

AWS DevOps training helps developers, cloud engineers and operations professionals build the practical automation skills that Bahamian employers are hiring for. You learn to design pipelines, codify infrastructure, ship containers and monitor live workloads on AWS. Whether you are moving from manual operations, adding automation to existing AWS knowledge, or joining a cloud-focused delivery team, the course builds capability you can put to work straight away.

This is a skills course, so the value is immediate and practical. You leave able to stand up a working delivery pipeline, define infrastructure as code, and run and monitor containers, the day-to-day work that modern AWS teams expect.

    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group AWS DevOps training helps Bahamian organisations build consistent cloud delivery practice across development and operations teams. Sessions can be run for a single squad, a platform team or a whole engineering function. For organisations migrating workloads to AWS or scaling their cloud footprint, the training creates a shared language and toolchain for automated, reliable delivery.

When developers, operations engineers and security staff learn together, pipelines and infrastructure are designed with every function in mind. That shared approach reduces silos, speeds up delivery and improves the quality of what reaches production.

    • Standardise CI/CD, IaC and container practice across your engineering teams
    • Speed up releases while reducing deployment risk and rework

What's Driving Demand for AWS DevOps Skills in the Bahamas

    Cloud Migration in Banking

Bahamian banks and insurers are moving core services to the cloud, but many lack in-house teams who can automate delivery and operations on AWS, exactly the gap this training closes.

AWS DevOps builds pipeline and automation skills

    Scaling the Fintech Ecosystem

With the Sand Dollar and a growing set of digital-payment providers, fintech firms need to ship reliably and often, which depends on solid CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployment.

AWS DevOps builds CI/CD and container skills

    Security and Compliance Pressure

Financial data and the DARE Act digital-asset rules raise the bar on security, so employers want engineers who bake security into every pipeline stage rather than bolt it on at the end.

AWS DevOps builds DevSecOps and IAM skills

    Telecom and Digital Services

Telecom operators and digital-service teams are launching customer-facing platforms at pace, and need automated infrastructure and deployment to keep those services reliable and fast.

AWS DevOps builds automated delivery skills

    A Thin Cloud-Talent Pool

The Bahamas has deep financial and IT talent but relatively few engineers with hands-on AWS automation experience, making practical AWS DevOps skills a clear differentiator locally.

AWS DevOps makes your cloud skills stand out

    Manual Operations Slowing Delivery

Many teams still deploy and configure infrastructure by hand, causing slow, error-prone releases that infrastructure as code and automated pipelines are built to fix.

    Pricing

How much does AWS DevOps training cost in the Bahamas?

Fees vary by delivery format, whether it is an individual or group booking, and the schedule you choose. Pricing is available on request. Ask a learning advisor for a quote for public sessions or corporate group training.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee includes instructor-led training across all six AWS DevOps modules, hands-on AWS exercises, structured courseware and learner support. You can request a full breakdown when you ask for a quote.

Do you offer group or corporate rates?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, whether onsite or live virtual. Contact us to discuss a package for your organisation and get a tailored quote.

Are there any additional AWS costs during the training?

Hands-on exercises may use AWS services that can incur usage charges, and an AWS account (free tier or paid) is expected. Check whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol, so you can plan any AWS account setup in advance.

How do I pay for the course?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that works best for you.

    Assessment

Is there an exam at the end of this course?

No. This is a non-examination skills course, so there is no test to sit or credential to renew. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on AWS exercises throughout the programme rather than a formal assessment.

Will I receive anything on completion?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you finish the programme. It recognises that you have completed the AWS DevOps training, though it is a record of attendance rather than a formal qualification.

How is my learning checked during the course?

You apply each concept as you go, following the trainer through live AWS exercises such as building a pipeline, writing a CloudFormation template and deploying a container. This practical approach lets you confirm your understanding in real time.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to build CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, automate infrastructure with CloudFormation and the AWS CDK, deploy containers to Amazon ECS or EKS, set up CloudWatch monitoring, and apply DevSecOps controls to your delivery.

Are the skills immediately usable at work?

Yes. Because the course is practical and tool-focused, you can apply what you learn to cloud delivery straight away. There is no renewal or maintenance required, and the skills stay relevant as you keep working with AWS.

    Course Content

What topics does the AWS DevOps syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers six modules: DevOps and the AWS ecosystem; source control and CI with CodeCommit and CodeBuild; continuous delivery with CodeDeploy and CodePipeline; infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and the AWS CDK; containers with ECS and EKS; and monitoring, DevSecOps and continuous improvement.

How long is the AWS DevOps course?

The programme runs for one day, totalling eight hours, and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions. All six modules are covered with hands-on AWS exercises throughout the day.

Which AWS tools will I work with?

You work with the AWS DevOps toolchain: CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline for CI/CD; CloudFormation and the AWS CDK for infrastructure as code; Amazon ECS, EKS and ECR for containers; and Amazon CloudWatch and X-Ray for monitoring.

Does the course include hands-on practice?

Yes. Hands-on work runs throughout. You follow the trainer using the AWS Console and CLI to build pipelines, define infrastructure as code, deploy containers and set up CloudWatch alarms and dashboards, so you practise every tool as you learn it.

Is the content kept current with AWS services?

Yes. AWS updates its services frequently, and the courseware reflects the current AWS DevOps toolchain and practices. You learn the services and patterns teams use in production today.

How do I enrol in the AWS DevOps course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to the schedule, courseware and joining details. A learning advisor can help you pick a suitable batch.
