How many questions are on the DevOps Foundation exam?

The DevOps Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer questions and is based on the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge.

What is the passing score for the DOFD exam?

The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Our included mock exams and practice questions help you prepare to pass on your first attempt.

How and where do I take the DevOps Foundation exam?

What will I learn in DevOps Foundation training?

You will learn DevOps culture, practices and tools: the Three Ways, the CALMS framework, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Infrastructure as Code, DORA metrics, the DevOps toolchain, and how DevOps relates to Agile, ITSM and Lean IT.

How long is the DevOps Foundation training?

The programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered as two full days or four half-days. It covers all six exam topic areas and prepares you for the 40-question DOFD exam.

Do I need prior DevOps experience to join?

No prior DevOps experience is needed. The course starts from foundational concepts, so beginners and those from traditional IT roles can follow comfortably. Basic IT familiarity is helpful but not required.
